Koru Care Christchurch provides special experiences for NZ children with serious and often on-going medical conditions and or disabilities by providing opportunities which are educational, fun, personally empowering and a means of further developing their social and life skills set.

Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust is a registered charity established in 1982. They rescue, care for and rehome dogs that have been abandoned at pounds throughout Canterbury, or surrendered from private situations.

Dogwatch operates from a five acre, purpose-built adoption centre in Bromley. Our facilities include two kennel blocks, large outdoor yards, two exercise paddocks and an office/customer area. We also have a secondhand variety store in New Brighton which provides a substantial part of our income.

Hoa Motuhake believe every child should have the opportunity to participate in sport regardless of their circumstances.

Hoa Motuhake Sports Trust provide a sports mentoring program for tamariki aged 8-12 years who are at risk, in high-deprivation circumstances and in care.

RMHC New Zealand keeps families together, positively impacting on their journey by allowing them to focus on their children.

In 2023, RMHC New Zealand provided over 4,400 families with accommodation and support free of charge at its facilities throughout New Zealand. It was the busiest year since the first New Zealand opening 33 years ago.

TheatreWise is a brand-new theatre company in Ōtautahi that promotes youth development and training, preparing young performers for the professional theatre world.

Through workshops, rehearsals, and performances, young performers will experience training from highly qualified professionals, as well as performance experience in a high-quality production.

We also implement a unique mentorship programme for youth interested in working on the creative team or backstage crew. This includes one-on-one, hands-on training from industry professionals in their respective field.
